Well now, I am not a historian nor indeed very well educated unlike your good self. But if a person is born in a certain area like his father before him, also his grandfather or he can trace his descent even further back, does this not give him some rights to the land he inherited, why would an immigrant from the USA or Canada or Russia, Europe or anywhere providing they are Jewish have more rights to that piece of land, by what legal right does Jewish migrants claim heritage over this farmer who speaks the language of the land whose people have trodden these fields and villages for centuries?

I had an idea of what comprises a nation-state but thought I would look it up.
Wiki gives this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nation_state

and this one is quite good:

Absolutely disgraceful, these murderous scumbags must be rooted out and anyone collaborating with them must also suffer.

Agreed - but house demolitions are a typically extreme response by that bastard Netanyahu.

The Britisih did it in what is now Israel against Jews before 1948. Today, many Israeli Jews are opposed to the destruction of terrorist homes , as they think it hurts the extended family, in East Jerusalem (in this case) ,who may or may have not known about the planned attack.
Anyhow, Netanyahu is in charge and destroying the homes may act as a deterrent. They can't get away with it. Some Palestinians were rejoicing at the murders. What kind of people are they?

Agreed Stephen, (fekking commas)That ballcox Netanyahu must go otherwise there'll never be peace, they started demolishing homes again last night in East Jerusalem and have stepped up the process, they now propose to demolish homes of family members suspected of being terrorists even to aunts and uncles of suspects. What the hell does he think it will accomplish, this is collective punishment (illegal under international law) which they were forced to stop in 2005 when they were shown by reports that it didn't deter attacks.

Well, we all know what happened to Daedelus's son Icarus: let's hope Stephen Netanyahu suffers a similar fate.

Ditto the unelected Holocaust denier, Abbas, elected for four years as the 'president' of the corruption-ridden 'Palestinian' Authority in 2004 and now in his undemocratic tenth year of office, not to mention the would-be neo-Holocaust dictator of the Gazan murderous terrorists, Hamiyeh and all his cohorts.
