My point is that there is no evidence for it.
According to one study, the average adult has a shorter attention span (eight seconds) than a goldfish (nine seconds).
This is not surprising in today's wired , or wified world.

I believe if the evidence was staring you in the face you would refuse to see it, Pondy, but of course I have no evidence for that.
