Prayers in the chat room

Postby different glory » November 10th, 2010, 12:10 am

As a new venture... something we might do regularly? perhaps once a month?... a group of Thaddeans are meeting in the chat room to pray together this coming Thursday night, 11 pm, UK time.

This is for all Thaddeans, to drop by and pray with the group, or to post things they'd like us to pray about. :)

(And Sweet Peace will help people to find the chat room -- drop her a PM if you forget the way!)
That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works. - Psalm 26

So, three of us made it last week and we've decided to give it a go this week again, same time. Everyone is welcome and if you need the log in code for the chat room, send me a PM.
Once again, feel free to post here or PM if there's anything you'd like prayer about.

Oh what a pity - you didn't pick up your pm with the new code in it. Is your mailbox full? I'm so sorry you missed it. We'll have to try again soon.

We met in the chat room and prayed for those on the prayer thread and others we're aware of. Thanks be to God for His rich blessings in Christ Jesus. Amen!

Well, we've had some trial running of this concept, and it has been very good.

So I'll go out on a limb, and undertake to be in the chat room for prayers at the same time on the first Thursday (UK/North America) of each month at the same time, for the next several months , ie until all the clocks change again. (No guarantees after that, because we'll have to reassess what times suit people.)

Let's see what everyone else thinks, but I like the idea of each week as it's easier for me, at least, to get into the habit of it (plus, I do find it spiritually rejuvenating). Of course, the majority rules here. :D
