Prayers for the Christians of Mosul, Iraq.

Postby GregB » July 23rd, 2014, 9:44 am

As I've mentioned on the thread in Talking Stick, 'Muslim Persecution of Christians', those in Mosul now face a terrible future at the hands of the ISIS extremists. Prayers are surely needed for these latest victims of Islamic persecution.

I have no influence at all at our church, but we have only taken in one family from Iraq, at Our Lady of Sorrows.. We ought to do more. Yes, I will pray for them.
According to one study, the average adult has a shorter attention span (eight seconds) than a goldfish (nine seconds).
This is not surprising in today's wired , or wified world.

Praying with you!

Article about it, here. I'm doing the prayers in church today, so will mention this, as well as the siege of Gaza.
Treason doth never prosper: what's the reason?
Why, if it prosper, none dare call it treason.
