Today we celebrated All Saints day, the Gospel of the Beatitudes was read.

"The glorious company of the apostles praise Thee.
The goodly fellowship of the prophets praise Thee.
The white-robed army of martyrs praise Thee.
All Thy saints and elect with one voice do acknowledge Thee,
O Blessed Trinity, one God!"

Last night was the eve of All Hallows/All Saints
We had some Guisers for All Hallows E'en

Surprise ! surprise! in our Canadian and US Catholic churches we read Matthew 5:1-12 which is the gospel of the Beatitudes. Thank God we are all singing from the same hymn book :D

After last week's visit to OLS church I was beginning to wonder.
Let nothing disturb you.
Let nothing make you afraid.
All things are passing.
God alone never changes.
Patience gains all things.
If you have God you will want for nothing.
God alone suffices.
