Changing Churches

Postby patjoseph » July 19th, 2010, 4:11 pm

After much Prayer, I am leaving my Salvation Army Fellowship and joining the Anglican church......My wife and I have been involved with a small plant on the estate where we live since its begininnings 3 years ago, and she has decided on Baptism, and asked if I would consider joining her....Because of the community base of this church, and the fact I have felt uncomfortable at my fellowship for a while now, I have decided on being Baptised. The church is called Eagles Wings and your prayers would be welcome.

Yes, of course, Pat. I think you've made an excellent decision (though I know nothing of your present fellowship problems) and I just wish I could be present at the baptisms (will it be a joint service with your wife?) I look forward to any future discussions prompted by your decision (eg. on the question of baptism, etc.) God bless you and your wife, old friend.

Lovely post, Greg, and yes patjoseph, I will keep you and your wife in my prayers. God bless you both and lead you both into happy and fulfilling fellowship. I too wish I could attend such a special event.

May this step be a source of great blessings for you, patjoseph, -- my prayers are with you and your wife. (if you let us know when, we'll pray during the baptism! :) )

Just catching up on things.

Lovely news about your wife, Pat - and you too of course.

Are you going to be assuming any position of responsibility/leadership at Eagles* Wings or will you simply be members alongside the others?

Shouldn't there be an apostrophe in there somewhere? (No rest for the Grammar pedant!)
