Should auld acquaintance come back?

Postby Chris Cross » May 4th, 2009, 6:36 pm

Well I'm back.

As they say, 'you can't keep a bad penny away' or something to that effect.

I came back because I often think about Tim and Sally and a lot of people here, among those I saw still posting were Pondering Philosopher, and Bev and others.

But what I could not find is material from Tim the Fat etc.

Now, that would be nice to find!

hello everyone and regards,

Chris

Hi Chris,

welcome back :)
Have you played 'hunt the wombat' yet?

Thanks Sally,

And no, I haven't played 'Hunt the Wombat' yet. I was in fact hunting for the fat wombat, our Tim, and I still am hunting.

I need to know how I can find the 'Member's Page' and I sent you a message through the contact page. You could reply here or modify the FAQ's for everyone's benefit.

Sally, this website is sleek and well managed. I rather like your arrangement of the square and the cathedral, that makes it more manageable.

Your name "Chris Cross" reminds me of those little kids somewhere in the eighties or nineties (who remembers really) that used to jump up and down in their video clips ...

Welcome Chris.
My older sister's name, had she married her defacto, would have been Chris Cross.

I'm one of the less frequent posters these days, (I must confess I've been seeing another website -playing a silly farm game on face book), but it's a great group.

God bless.

Thanks for the welcome Sweet Peace.

That's one reason I did not marry your sister - it would have been too confusing if the family had TWO Chris Crosses!

So I crossed out Chris!

The other reason, of course, is that I remain free to legally flirt with a sweet peaceful and very pretty girl!

Regards,

Chris

Well, I hope you find one! :D (I'm a cranky old married woman myself -don't be fooled by the avatar.)

Ah! What a pity!

I had this terrible feeling that I had stayed away from this board too long.

And now that I'm finally back, I see that all the prettiest girls have gone and got married!

Welcome, CC! :-D It's good to have old friends come back, and I would never use the term "bad penny."
