Disruption warning

Postby sally » September 1st, 2008, 1:23 pm

I will be updating the board and gallery software in the next day or so. I will try to keep downtime to a minimum, but please be patient if you can't get onto the site.

Thank you

I thought this was a warning to those disrupting the board, and thought "Oh no! Not again!"

I've been away for the weekend, and just came on - thought the same thing as you, Andrew!

:D I thought it was a warning from Sally that she was going to be disruptive.
(Not really Sally)

There was something earlier on - couldn't get into the site. That could have been when the disruption was happening, and it is over now.

Stage one done.

Board should be up to date. I'm still trying to get the gallery working.

I think it's working now. Wait for the complaints to start :D

There are new methods of uploading photos to the gallery - upload applet and gallery remote, both of which will resize large photos before adding them - if you remember to tick the box which says resize before upload. Gallery remote needs a little setting up, but allows you to add several photos at once. Upload applet should load photos if you browse to them on your hard drive. They use Java, and should help you install it if necessary.
