Counting in pictures

This page from another forum I recently joined will give you an idea of how to play, although the first three pictures have disappeared.

Can't see that other forum as I don't want to register. I'm guessing it's as simple as finding a picture with a '2' in it, etc?
I haven't looked for one yet, but just wanted to clarify the rules on a couple of points, since I can't see the example you've given.
    1. Photos of famous things only, or can you supply your own pictures too?
    2. And what about pictures of door numbers? Could get a bit monotonous, but could also be a lifeline perhaps if there is such a thing as a difficult number?

Any photo you like, as long as it contains the number in question in some form, figures or written out. Sorry you can't see the linked thread - didn't realise you had to be registered. For some of the lowest numbers, up to twelve, people used pictures of clock-faces at the relevant hour. You can usually find a suitable photo by doing an image-google on the relevant number. This was my entry on the other forum for 3923.

Sorry to interrupt the flow of photos but I want to confirm something. As I recall (and Sally has said this more than once), unless we post a photo from our own stock, as it were, we're supposed to put a link to the photo in question for copyright reasons rather than put it straight in here.

Anyway, here's the next number on this link:
