7207

Apparently it's a Soviet aircraft repair vehicle, now doing its bit for that noseless plane. Unfortunately, the team were supplied with a copy of Das Kapital instead of an instruction manual.

That belt is a little too large for me. I take a 36" waist belt.

I don't see the number 7208 anywhere there, so I'm afraid it's back to my last post before Pondero's.

72090 is not the same as 7209, so:

7209

Yet you allowed 7189A which is not the same as 7189, and you allowed 4-7193 which is not the same as 7193. And 72090 has contained in it 7209. There are others such as 4-7194,and 7-7203.
Hyphens don't void the number apparently, and neither do letters after the number as was the case in 7189A

7210

In response, 7189A contains the number 7189; 'A' is clearly a letter, not a number, so is effectively distinct. The hyphen in 4-7193 separates the number 4 from 7193 (47193 would obviously be another matter.) You say "72090 has contained in it 7209", but 72090 is a complete number in itself. Imagine if your last one, 7210, had been submitted as, say, 721058392. That would not be acceptable just because it 'contained' 7210 and the same goes for your 72090. In sum and as a rule of thumb, I think we can say that each number in sequence should appear clearly separated from any other accompanying number by a hyphen while a letter tacked on is acceptable as it isn't a numeral.

I'll leave the next one to Sprocket...

My own view is that a number in sequence, should be from now on simply a number without hyphens and without suffixes such as in 7189A attached, or prefixes or anything else that the human mind can think of.Those in my mind should be the rule from now on? Any further comments!

And I wish you all a good day :D
