Fore and aft!

Postby Phil » January 25th, 2008, 9:36 pm

Basically this is the double barrelled word association we used to play on Sparrows, Openchurch, 4church et al[i] where I think we called it Pass It On if I recall correctly.

I start by offering a pair of two word phrases but one word (my starting word) must be common to both phrases.

The next player chooses one of the two words I linked to my starter word and uses that as his/her starter word obviously adding two other words from which the next player can select their starting word.

Play continues in like manner for as long and as often as people wish.

As my starter word I choose [i]sandwich
and offer ham and board as my 'fore and aft' words as in ham sandwich and sandwich board. Next player therefore has ham and board as their starter options.
