Your posts make me think that you see this forum as comprising of 'them and us' (or, today, 'them and me'), and it isn't meant to be like that. I sometimes feel like a rank outsider too and no doubt others do at times but this forum is for all of us.

We criticise eachother's posts, floo. Everyone does it, it's the same on every forum that I have ever posted on.

Although I myself may have been guilty of it in the past, I don't like argumentum ad hominem, attacks . it is much better if one attacks the views of a person, not his or her personality.
“ignorance of the fact that man has a wounded nature inclined to evil gives rise to serious errors in the areas of education, politics, social action, and morals” (#407).

And with that I agree, although sometimes it isn't easy to turn the other cheek!

Of course it is, bearing (or baring) in mind that we have four of them...

Dud: I felt a hand on my cheek.
Pete: Which cheek was that, Dud?
[Long pause]
Dud: Left upper, Pete.
Milligan nodded. What was the use? After all, if Albert Einstein stood for a thousand years in front of fifty monkeys explaining the theory of relativity, at the end, they'd still be just monkeys.

:D
Brendan Behan once went on a lecture tour of Canada. On his arrival, a reporter asked him why he'd come to Canada. Behan replied "I saw an advert that said 'Drink Canada Dry', and I thought 'I'll try anything once!'"
